China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) is a state-level bilateral collaboration project between China and Singapore, located at the geometrical center of Guangzhou, as well as in the northern part of Huangpu District, with a planned total area of 232 square kilometers and a planned population of 1 million. On August 28, 2020, the State Council of China approved the "Master Development Plan (2020-2035)", pointing out the development goal of building CSGKC into a State Knowledge Center with global significance, clarifying the strategic positioning of CSGKC as "a New Highland of Knowledge Generation, a Free Port of International Talents, an Innovation Center in Greater Bay Area and a Demonstration Zone of Opening-up and Cooperation". The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is one of the largest decentralised agencies of the European Union, based in Alicante, Spain.
